Woochi is a Tao wizard from the Chosun Dynasty who is wrongly accused of a crime he didn’t commit and was banished into a magical scroll for five centuries. He was then summoned in modern day Seoul to help capture the evil goblins that are wreaking havoc on the world.

Woochi is a film that surely does look and come across as a big deal. We have a nearly perfect transfer to an action packed film that also delivers very well in the comedy areas and many other areas. The film does pack a plot that might be hard for some to follow at some points and you do need to pay attention while watching to even start to fully understand what is going on, but the movie still holds you in until the full thing comes together during the two hour running time. Thankfully, we also have a rather entertaining lead character, even if he does seem to dress like Michael Jackson.

So we have a movie with a very interesting plot that goes from way back in the day to current times in very cool fashion. We have a dog that turns into a horse that turns into a human and a very elaborate transfer that really stands out to help things seem like that much more of a cinematic event. The movie seems to have a pretty rad budget a well based on some of the fight scenes and the effects. Overall it makes for a somewhat flawed in spots, but fun and energetic movie that is well worth checking out if you like comedy, action, and wizardly plots.
