Two pretty young women are abducted to be the featured stars of a snuff film produced by a couple low-life goons. The ladies are bound, gagged, tortured, burned with cigarettes and forced to dig their own graves. In this film, much of it was speculated at a time to be “legit” or snuff. But since then it’s now more common knowledge that it’s in fact just a normal film. A normal film with some really twisted stuff.

William Allen Grone may have never really existed, but a lot of people don’t know that. The fact that they don’t know that means a lot of people will have their intensity turned up a few notches when they read what is on the back of this DVD case and pop this disc in. The contents of the movie in question are of a rough nature. It looks pretty nasty, what goes down in the film is pretty nasty, and I’m sure it could shake a few people up. But also in a day and age when we get tons of stuff like this out each year, it’s also safe to say that the film’s impact is made less by what we have since on film since 2003.

I do still believe this film packs a good concept. It’s well acted also. The characters in the film are not pleasant but then again I’m sure they aren’t supposed to be. It is what it is and some of it might be hard to watch if you can’t take the more “realistic” path with film making. More or less the film is delivered in a straight up nature and the “snuff” portions are kept to a minimum, but they are still there. So know going in that this film packs no bells or whistles. It just has a cool concept and a slower style. Still, I do give kudos for the overall concept.
