From the masters that brought you KUNG FU TRAILERS OF FURY comes another invincible collection of treachery, brutality, swordplay, wirework, darting daggers, flying fists and the most insane fighting styles ever unleashed on celluloid. Experience 35 original trailers from The Golden Age of Martial Arts Cinema, starring such legends as Angela Mao, Bolo Yeung, Don Wong, Chang Yi, Bruce Li, Leanne Liu, Lo Lieh and even Chuck Norris. It’s an indomitable dynasty of Hong Kong classics that includes YELLOW-FACED TIGER, BRUCE AND THE IRON FINGER, REVENGE OF THE SHAOLIN KID, THE AVENGING BOXER, SNUFF-BOTTLE CONNECTION, HELL’S WINDSTAFF, THUNDERING MANTIS, THE LEGENDARY STRIKE, KUNG FU KILLERS, CRAZY HORSE & INTELLIGENT MONKEY, SHAOLIN INVINCIBLE STICKS and more!

We’re back at the Grindhouse! This time we are dipping into Kung Fu classics ranging from 1973 to 1984! Next to horror movies, I have a soft spot for all things Kung Fu and this is the type of trailer compilation that is right down my alley. For a running time of 134 minutes, you get dipped down into an onslaught of some of the coolest and corniest Kung Fu movies you can think of. Making this one perhaps even more of a true Grindhouse experience is the damage to some of the trailers we have on this compilation. We have scratches, tears, and even missing parts. You still won’t mind, however, as I’m sure you’ll be having too much watching what is being shown to you on the screen. I own a whole heck of a lot of Kung Fu movies, but this one makes me want to own a whole lot more and it makes me wish more companies would toss these gems on Blu-rays for the full effect.

You get around 34 trailers of various quality and ratio in this compilation and it shows some of the more obscure and crazy films you can find out there in the world of Kung Fu movies. This isn’t going to be a release for someone who skips the trailers on movies, so if you don’t have a solid love for watching trailers then you probably won’t get the full effect of this disc. I like the stuff that Severin is doing right now and this release goes along those same lines of cool releases from a very cool company. We’ve seen trailer releases from them and their sub-label Intervision before and if you love those then you’ll love this. This is the type of disc that works best to kick back after a long day in the recliner, turn this on, pop you open a Dr.Pepper and just enjoy the craziness.
