DRIVE-IN DELIRIUM is back – and now delivering 1080p times the insanity. The ultimate mausoleum of movie madness has been desecrated once again, unleashing a stupefying serving of delightfully depraved and garishly gory trailer trash from the defining decade of Decadence! Erupting with almost 4 hours of a non-stop body and breast count – DRIVE-IN DELIRIUM: MAXIMUM

The fun continues here in HD but this time it is more of my kind of party with all of the 80’s trailers! Like with our last set, this one comes with trailers remastered in hi-definition and we have a count of 116 theatrical trailers with over 40 new ones just for this release. If you name it, it seems to be on this compilation and I had a load of fun going back and watching them and seeing just how many I already had and how many I need to get. The stalk and slash portion of the disc were my personal favorite, as I’m a big time slasher fan and the list is a who’s who of 80’s slashers with trailers for everything from the well-known Halloween II and Friday the 13th to the more cult known All Through the House and Sorority House Massacre. In a number of cases, I’d go as far as to even say that the trailers look better than some Blu-ray releases of these movies look. If you love the 80’s and that was my personal favorite time period for movies, then you know how cool and memorable some of the trailers can be. That makes this one a must-own as far as I’m concerned.

Now, it is best to again keep in mind that this is a trailer compilation and I know that these types of movies might not be everyone’s cup of tea. That being said, I think the more hardcore horror fans will be right at home with this type of release and I think that might just cover anyone who goes out of their way to read a review on zombiesdontrun.net. From Chuck Norris to Jason to any odd and end character you might have seen in some weird 80’s horror film, they seem to all be here in Drive-In Delirium: Maximum ’80s Overdrive. This one should be right at home on your movie shelf with such titles as 42nd Street Forever and the latest Kung-Fu compilation from Severin. If you like movie trailers this another great release from the good folks over at Umbrella Entertainment.
